40th Annual Strawberry Festival

Bike Parade

Theme: Superheroes or favorite cartoon character. Children are invited to decorate their bicycles to reflect their favorite Superhero or cartoon character.

Registration: Free registration is available online at flowwindham.org or in person at the Strawberry Festival on May 31 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  Online registration closes on May 30 at midnight.

Age brackets: K-2nd grade (ages 5- 7), 3rd- 5th (8-11 years)

Time of the parade: Line up at 12:40 p.m. The parade starts at 1 p.m. Children will walk their decorated bikes around a prescribed course at the high school.

Criteria for judging: originality/creativity, adherence to theme, use of materials, and child’s effort. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places (certificates) and coupons for 1-2 free books at the book fair.

Awards presentation and pictures at approximately 1:30 pm.
